💄💄💄 ANNOUNCING 💄💄💄 Very excited to share that I’m joining an esteemed bunch of clever creatives for @daniellebrustman SUPERHOT SHOP as part of @ngvmelbourne for #melbournedesignweek2026 Opening night this Friday 15th, 6 - 9pm @ 47 Easy Street, Collingwood SUPERHOT SHOP runs from May 15 - 25 , 12 - 5pm daily.

As GEOMETRY OF PLACE comes to a close, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to every one of you who took the time to visit; who supported the work through collecting and sharing it; and to all who sent messages of encouragement & congratulations along the way. Your generosity of spirit, considered curiosity, and genuine care for my art practice have not only moved me deeply, but have also propelled me forward with renewed momentum to continue thinking, making, and dreaming bigger and brighter. 🌟 Thank you. For those who didn’t get a chance to see the exhibition in situ, or who would like another peek, the wonderful gang at @craftvictoria will present the remaining works in their Makers Showcase. I’ve also left the 🔗 in bio for a wee while longer should you not be Naarm based. In closing, I wanted to reiterate how incredibly grateful I am - for the conversations, connections, and sense of community that grew around this body of work. ASHDOD This one took its time. I went back and forth on the glaze decision before finally settling with this. And honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the result. 🍋‍🟩 Proudly divisive. QUIET MEASURE I listened to Portishead on repeat whilst working on this one. My head deep in that place that pushes you to move forward without certainty, asking quietly for reassurance… but continuing anyway. Sitting with that vulnerability slowed the process and sharpened my attention on this one. In the end, I think the work settled into something steady and composed, holding its ground without needing to insist.  Returning to the gallery yesterday and seeing it again, it stood out more clearly to me — a quiet little diamond among the works. Aileen Corbett's structural ceramic sculptures are now showing in the Project Space, alongside Members Only. Geometry of Place brings together a series of Aileen's hand-built ceramic forms, shaped through a slow and meditative process. Although influenced by architecture, the sculptures behave more like maquettes - compact expressions of spatial ideas. See the exhibition Geometry of Place, showing until 2 May.
