Hobbiting along past Mt. Doom / Completing the Tongarairo Alpine Crossing is up there with one of the highlights of my life so far! It was absolutely spectacular and so worth the effort !!!

It's hard to put into words the incredible week I had around Uluru and the surrounding area in Australia's red centre!
Sleeping under the stars around the campfire, waking up before dawn, cosy in our swags and staring up at the incredible night sky. Watching the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Hiking through the Valley of the Winds and Kings Canyon. Driving through the outback, learning about the native plants, animals, collecting firewood for the evening sitting around the fire listening to stories of the first nations people.
It's the most alive, exhilarated and happy I have felt in a while. It truly is the simple pleasures in life that bring us the most! ✨
