The Albanian International Fashion Federation (AIFF) is launched.
Tirana - The Albanian International Fashion Federation (AIFF) has been officially established as the first structured institution in Albania with a role comparable to a #albaniafashioncouncil, aiming to develop, promote, and internationalize the country’s fashion system. In an increasingly competitive global landscape, AIFF positions itself as an official platform connecting creativity, industry, and market, offering designers - both emerging and established - a concrete ecosystem for growth and professional positioning. The model draws inspiration from leading international institutions such as the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, the British Fashion Council, and the Council of Fashion Designers of America, which oversee the fashion systems of Milan, Paris, London, and New York. In this direction, AIFF adopts a structured and contemporary approach aligned with the standards of the world’s major fashion capitals. Among its key activities, AIFF will establish an official fashion calendar, organize the Albania Fashion Week - held twice a year in April and October - and develop dedicated projects for the industry, including the Fashion Future Forum, a platform for dialogue between designers, companies, and international stakeholders. Through a network of connections between Albania and the major fashion capitals, AIFF actively promotes Albanian designers, supporting them from national visibility to access to international opportunities, including editorial features and participation in key markets such as Milan and other strategic cities. The initiative is conceived, founded, and led by Gentiana Dervishi, President of the Federation, whose vision is focused on building a solid and long-term platform for the Albanian fashion system, capable of engaging with the global fashion landscape. With the launch of AIFF, the Albanian fashion system takes a significant step forward into a new phase of development, based on structure, strategic vision, and international openness.

Delfina Dehari is a designer from Kërçova who creates under her own name. She completed her studies in Fashion Design at AAB College and specialized in styling and pattern making at the French Fashion Institute “Izet Curi.” She also obtained her master’s degree at AUE-FON, with a focus on fashion design. Her collection “The Roots” explores the connection between personal identity and cultural heritage, translating traditional elements into a contemporary vision. The silhouettes are structured, with the use of precisely crafted corsets and clean lines. Asymmetry and the contrast between strong forms and lighter elements create a controlled balance within the design. The color palette includes deep tones, while the materials are selected to preserve the garment’s shape and structure. The collection creates a clear link between traditional references and modern interpretation, building a distinctive identity in design
