Finally have all the photos for a post-fight post. Aiden had a terrific match against an opponent that was taller than him, at last! I view amateur fights as an arena to test one’s skill in a way that can push your development further, so it’s important to fight a variety of people, gyms and specific skill sets that make you better. Fighting someone taller was never a question, but considering how far I have to drive to find my fighters quality opponents, the irony isn’t lost on me that this guy grew up in the next town over from my gym! All that said, Aiden’s cardio and ability to listen grew tremendously this camp, and we were able to fight without also battling a sickness for once. Happy with the outcome and now we can work on the next phase of skills. When he returns to action it’s going to be a big level up!
