COURSE 1
Acting Foundations: Working on Oneself
Whether you are starting out or wish to return to the foundations of a strong acting technique, the focus of these classes is on presence and awareness: developing a deeper, more dynamic sensory relationship to yourself and your environment, exploring your creative resources, and expanding your sense of self in relation to an array of possible circumstances, paving the way for work on text and character.
Special Winter offer: Fee: €80 (normally €160) for 6 weeks. 1 x 2.30 hr session per week
COURSE 2
Acting Text & Character - Working on a Role
You will learn how to approach a scene and build an authentic and repeatable life on stage. You continue to develop skills introduced in Acting Foundations, moving into text, character & scene work. You gain a working understanding of the language of intentions, actions, objectives, obstacles, and conflicts and learn to be in a state of dynamic discovery, which leads to living action. The class is not generic but diagnostic in approach recognising that each person is different and therefore addresses the needs of each individual actor. Areas covered include:
