I am going to start uploading random bits and peices from the past that I've failed to post previously!
I'll try my hardest to remember to mention which is old and which is current. Especially because a some of it is going to be gig posters with dates that have already been and gone or items/products that are currently unavailable. Would be pretty stink ass to advertise some shit that ain't a thing no more
Anyways, I did this gig poster in 2022 for my friends @alphabetheads and @youngghost___ for their dancey hip hop wobbly grimey musical collaboration project/experience titled Bad Taste! I always love working with these guys, they allow a lot of freedom which mostly means fun! It's also a huge plus that they make sick tunes both as individuals and as a collaboration!
Was a blast finally getting to see them play live earlier this year at Camp A Low Hum in Wainuiamata
Haven't uploaded anything for a long time. But I might start adding stuff again and chucking in a bunch of crap I've missed over the years
Anyways, I was so stoked to be asked to do some art for Camp A Low Hum. I can't describe how much this festival means to me and what it has given me. My life honestly wouldn't be the same if I didn't go to CALH when I was a young whipper snapper. It changed the way I knew I could experience music and gigs and environments and art. It was just as amazing as it once was, if not even more amazing! And to go again after over ten years was BLISS
It was such an honour to do two peices of art for CALH 2024, both were very well used througout the entire festival!
This is an exploding face I drew. Printed on tshirts and tea towels. Was also printed on black but I didn't get pics of those ones
Holy! Just wanna say a huge as thanks to @alexanderlbrown_ for sussing out such an awesome show! So many of my favourite NZ artists in one room. I didn't manage to get good photos of my work at the show but here's something I contributed. @wroughtmaterial is open till the 10th at @demo_akl on Shadock Street, go check it out!
