Maset x Donostia Throughout April and May, our wonderful client Maset welcomes its sister restaurant Donostia to Chiltern Street, bringing Basque signatures and northern Spanish specialities to the table alongside Maset favourites and new spring dishes. It’s a seasonal conversation between two regions, two kitchens, and two beautifully complementary ways of eating.

From dog-eared classics to rare finds, many of the cookbooks on Graham’s shelves have inspired dishes at The West House or shaped him as a young chef. An avid collector, there’s many a story behind these treasured titles, including nostalgic visits to the legendary @booksforcookslondon in Notting Hill. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be pulling out his favourites and spotlighting the legends and recipes that have sparked his best ideas and foodie memories.

“Minimalist modern décor often offends me, but the faded grandeur and eclectic pictures here don’t demand attention, and heaven forbid that any piped music should pollute its hallowed rooms. All style choices seem to be made solely to provide an unobtrusive backdrop for the fascinating clientele.” Sheila Hancock, The Observer.
