“In Vain” is by far my favourite song to sing live because it feels like one big exhale, the room always goes as quiet as it’s probably will be the whole night and it allows my to pause, slow down as much as the room needs, and tell a story of how we tend to get stuck in cycles due to selfishness & pride.
And this particular one is special because of the connection to the people, to the land, to the culture on which I have the honour privilege of experiencing and walking through.
