Domaine François Cotat - apparently this may be the first Father and Son photo of François and Clément! I knocked on the door of François for years before I was able to buy any wine, and since then many great things have happened including he, Valérie and Clément having visited Australia at different times. This estate means everything to me, epitomising my passion for wine. The good news is that 2024 and 2025 are sensational 🔥🇫🇷💪

Happy 40th birthday @france_soir_restaurant ! What to say…Jean Paul is an inspiration to many and definitely to me. Getting to know him and his restaurant and all those that have supported to make it as great as it is has been a story of my life and, after 40 years, many others. It’s an icon in Australia and something to aspire to for all in business, long may it live ❤️🇫🇷🇦🇺🥂

What a visit to Jean Foillard. The passage of time has only strengthened this famous estate. Well known in Australia through the quality of their superb wines and for sure boosted by the year long visits of Alex and Louis. Jean is on form as ever, and the 2024 vintage is full of freshness and silky elegance, a beauty! ❤️🇫🇷🍷

Pretty emotional day tasting 30 vintages of @domainegramenon rare and beautiful cuvée Mémé Ceps Centennaires. To taste Phillipe’s original version then Michelle‘s then Michelle and Maxime‘s and then Maxime‘s own was an amazing experience. It will always be my favourite expression of Grenache and It reinforces my love for the wine but even more the Estate. Thank you Michelle, Maxime and Blandine! 🇫🇷❤️🍷

Philippe Bravay from Domaine de Ferrand @domainedeferrandbravay makes stupendous wine from his vines in the Northern sector of Chateauneuf du Pape, No oak, only tanks and wines centred on old and ancient vines Grenache, it’s always been that way. We tasted the 2025’s and that makes it 20 years we work together!!

First visit of 2026 with Federico Scarzello in Barolo. A beautiful day and what a beautiful part of the world! Federico has refined and elevated his already exceptional wines in the past few years and today’s tasting was just brilliant. I already drink far too much of his wine at home and this will now only increase 🍷❤️ 🇮🇹

The festive season is well and truly here, beautiful surprise to get these from old mate @fraser_mckinley as a forward look at next year’s wines. After a little rest I can’t wait to have a look at the magic inside the bottles! 🍷🎄❤️🎅
