Light into folie: 'Fabian knew he only had but half an hour to reach the shoot location. The buzz that rushing thought gave him seemed intensified at every intersection as he became aware of the risk of a collision.
It had taken him two full days and all of his wits to find the vehicle that would meet all of Wes' demands, but now he had it.
It was the first time that this unremarkable fixer was given the opportunity to prove himself to this monument of a director.
He had always aspired to be him, and now... well now he was working for him. This might explain why at 11 am that Friday morning at the intersection of Rue saint-laurent and the Faubourg saint-Martin, Fabian decided not to jump out of his vehicle as a rogue durex delivery truck ran a red light and hit the cherished film prop head on.
In any case, this unfortunate incident did at least earn Fabian's name the glory of being added to the long list of martyrs who died for a somewhat noble trade. Proving that...' Appalled by the content of his screenplay the young writer tore the pages and threw them on the floor where the pile of abandoned scripts grew ever taller.
The bitterness of his scripts reflected the deep dissatisfaction he felt from not having been born a martyr. What thoughts were in his head as he chocked on a final and fatal script is hard to say. All that I know is that in mine only folie leads the way.

The Theater of Life - 2:
Lost, surrounded by what seems to be an infinite number of stages, the spectator's eye often does not wander. Wary that after having jumped from play to play, his mind would be left with undecipherable scenes and incompatible story arcs.
He instead decides to look at what seems to be his own play, and starts tirelessly rewriting the script. Outraged every time a scene does not go his way. Seemingly unaware that he was never meant to be the author of any play.
Suddenly struck by the realization of his error, the spectator remembers that he was always just an actor in a universal play.
So he draws the heavy camera, that had been waiting in the palm of his hand, closer towards his face. Looking through the view finder he recognizes his fellow actors. As he analyzes the scene a strange feeling starts to sink in.
Complicity has connected him to the scene, and the lead actrice's burden is now what he is feeling.
Acting has made him feel, feeling has made him live.
Dazzled by this notion the man forgets about acting, and all that is left is a man spectating.
Trapped in this endless loop, the writer comes to the conclusion that no Man has ever lived.

Always keep an eye out for the constant motions of the cosmic theater, which we inhabit, that's what I'll take away from Tino Sehgal's carte blanche project at the Palais de Tokyo, which I had the pleasure of seeing last weekend.

I started a video/photography project to create an experimental video that would go along with my dear friend @kwamewrite 's Homeless Mind poem, which he performed in Paris at Canon Scie last Saturday.
