MECHA DRIFT!!!
@zakar.ion and the other cool kids were building these badass #mechadrift racers and I wanted in on the action! Requirements were build a racing mech that’s roughly 22 bricks tall with two pilots and a deployable booster to make your mech go even faster!!!
Got to use a bunch of crazy prints and stickers for this one including some medium orange from “Hot Scorcher” - 2002 racers set (4584).

Yet another flying Mooncar variant, this time extra fancy style. I was going to stop after five but I got the new Bugatti speed champions set and couldn’t help myself. I’m no @angusmaclane but the fleet is growing.

It took three years from BrickWorld ‘23 to Cascade ‘26 for me to receive my FrogPOD from @si -mocs and of course the first thing I wanted to do was take out the pilot and hop it around. 🐸 Little frog homie however was neither removable nor complete! 🤣
The great thing about Lego is you can modify or create anything you want so here’s my take on the Frognaut. It was only after I built this did I realize Si had built a standalone version which is a little more froggy in its format. I like this version as it’s a little more in scale with the POD and feels like the removable action figure I was hoping for.

Another small foot print micro Moonbase build for the #boomtown3026 collab at #brickscascade
When concepting this one of the components had to be the Leeches: Conveniently located businesses whose sole purpose is to separate the worker from their pay. Brothels, liquor stores, gambling, auto dealerships, and enough quick flash bullshit to burn a month’s pay in the span of a day’s leave.

Some detail shots of the micro Moonbase action. Not much in the way of traditional micro Moonbase connection tubes. Enclosed connected moon bases are for civilians who are soft and need to get from the mall to the spa. This is raw frontier shit and you’re exposed to the elements all the time. That’s why the pay is good, the contracts are non-negotiable, and the average worker is the most dangerous animal in the environment.

Little stand alone derrick action for the upcoming Bricks Cascade micro Moonbase collab with @breadman017 and @madlegoman13 .
Was excited to see what I could do with a limited footprint. We’re not connecting these together in the traditional standard way so we’ve built edging to have them be free floating islands of sorts. Looking forward to seeing how the action will come together on-site.

BOOMTOWN 3026!
Here is my contribution to the collaborative micro Moonbase project that will be on display at Bricks Cascade at the end of the month. A couple of months back @breadman017 convinced me that we needed to do some sort of WackLUG effort since it’s been a minute and we’d have boots on the ground at the show.
@madlegoman13 is also in on the action along with a few mystery guests so if you’re in the Portland area the first weekend in May come check it out and say what’s up to your boy. I’ll have this along with whatever else I can cram in a suitcase on display.
