Working with various media, his work frequently focuses on the complex systems of interactions between humans and technology, and the questions and issues that arise from these interactions. Arngrímur has exhibited at various exhibition spaces, galleries and festivals in both Iceland and Sweden, as well as institutions such as Peri Centre for Photography in Turku, Finland, The National Museum of Iceland, Bildmuseet in Umeå and Malmö Konsthall in Malmö, Sweden. [UTSTÄLLNING] Nu öppnar den andra utställningen! Arngrímur Borgþórsson visar verket ”Fy fan vad billigt” som en del av I Samlad Rörelse på Kulturum i Gävle! 🟡 Kom på vernissage den 10 maj kl 11-16 och träffa konstnären! ”I samlad rörelse intresserade mig på grund av dess inneboende referens till insamling av material för ett syfte. Det kan betyda att ett föremål enbart flyttas från punkt A till punkt B. Men det kan vara hela poängen. Det är ofta vad jag gör. Att hitta saker och flytta dem till ett annat sammanhang” - säger Arngrímur. ”Fy Fan Va Billigt” som samlar de billigaste prylarna som säljs i olika kiosker och hörnbutiker runt om i Gävle i ett fotografiskt affisch-verk i skyltfönstren på Kulturum, Brynästorget. Utställningen går att se dygnet runt under våren och sommaren och arrangeras av Moderna Gefle och Kulturum.
