@agentbugs_ has elegantly made his way from the dance floors to DJ booths. With some intense revelatory experiences at various parties featuring legends from different schools of music, the desire to emulate the same only grew more. He is also one of the founders of @entente.fm , a community focused on documenting and journaling the local scene. Area 313, a Detroit sound focused event series was also the brain child of this bunch of musical evangelists. Thnx for the invite @skyedotin + @devious_quest In hindsight it seemed like the pre-party to this weekend where I’ll be reappearing at the @retrace__ stage for @caged.experience x @mob_mind.ind double whammy ! Retrace parties are about “retracing” the roots of dance music. So I’ll be digging deep from early 90s and 2000s for this one. After all it was the glory times for rave ! Grab a ticket coz there are some amazing artists both local and international on the bill !

Break Free aspires to stand by Salon’s ethos - a space for artists to be “amateurs” again; to express an unconventional side and to genuinely BREAK FREE from the norms. Almost 2 years and the chu chu train 🚂 has just been pumping non-stop, picking up all kinds of artists: DJs, visual artists, dance crews, and ravers, forming beautiful camaraderie all along its way! A lot of crews, friends, and enthusiasts come together to make every Area313 a wholesome experience! We couldn’t have asked for a better community to do this with 🫡! When talking about music or music technology @abhyu__ is our go to person. Because he brings that much needed nuance and clarity to the conversation. Few weeks ago when our feeds were filled with Ghibli styled images @agentbugs_ started this conversation on AI and the future of art with Abhyu. Hes old school just like the Jungle scene. And he will be packing it majorly this Saturday. @ghoshadrisha , very well known and respected in the bass music circles, swears that she has so much music to express that she cant keep calm anymore!! @rrudha0 he is all things old school. Be it hiphop, house or jungle, you can trust this dude will be selecting some real gems in his usb. We already covered his ingenuity previously. Now you gotta just show up to see it for yourself. @agentbugs_ is taking a leap with this lineup coz his love for all genres of dance music and eagerness to stay out of his comfort zone, he is exactly where he needs to be. @notreallyzoh will be showcasing a unique noisy and gritty visuals for the first edition of Break Free !
