This year is about giving credit where it’s due. I’m proud of myself and my evolution while building JAG. The joyful moments, pain, confusion, late hours, and consistent prayer have made a profound sense that this year will be extraordinary, precious, and twice as memorable with even more success.

I needed a full two weeks to fully process that I had my very own FIRST fashion show!!
If you know me you know this has always been a dream for me. Being able to build a modeling agency from the ground up & provide training to models with little to no experience is the most rewarding gift of all. It brought tears to my eyes to watch my models grow not only on the runway but in all areas of their lives. To be able to be in a room full of black excellence & individuals who are thriving in believing in their dreams no matter what, was beautiful to witness and feel.
This was a very special show and I couldn’t have done it without God first. To the whole production team THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES & please don’t ever give up on your dreams. To my models, you are the best thing to ever happened to me & have taught me more than you can ever imagine. Everyday I try to be a better person because of you. Most importantly thank you for trusting me & believing in @agency.jag . I promise we will reach levels you all couldn’t even imagine.
To my sister @lamorochita my #1 supporter I love you beyond words.
To @jasminelysette thank you for being so supportive & putting in just as much time in the agency as a model and assistant. Lord knows I needed you as a business partner & genuine friend. You are the most amazing individual a friend can have.

To individuals who have a dream & don’t know or have fear, know that you’re not alone. I had so much fear in my heart planning this but every day I asked God to provide me with the strength, courage, wealth, & resources needed to create something bigger than me. I asked & received, put all your trust in God.
Most importantly, through this whole journey I learned the power of discipline. Trusting in yourself no matter what & realizing that you don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

A Mother’s Love 💐
This project celebrates young mothers, specifically centering their choosing and transformation throughout their journey. It firmly pushes back against this era where motherhood is being wielded to drive certain conservative political narratives. Here, motherhood and women’s choices throughout this journey are given the reverence they deserve. Because that is what motherhood actually is for them. Not a single moment of decision but a sustained, daily act of choosing: their child, their love, themselves within that love. Over and over again, in the exhaustion and the joy and everything that transforms them along the way.
