We had the honor of working with TECHO US, a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to providing safe housing and improving living conditions for low-income families across Latin America and the Caribbean. For over 28 years, TECHO US has mobilized more than 1.6 million volunteers to build emergency homes, create community projects, and empower local communities with dignity, opportunity, and lasting change. Under the leadership of its passionate team, TECHO US focuses on long-term solutions—addressing structural poverty, not just temporary aid—through hands-on volunteer programs, partnerships, and measurable impact. Through collective action and a belief in housing as a human right, TECHO US continues to transform lives, one home at a time, proving that when communities come together, real change is possible. #TECHOUS #EndPoverty #HousingForAll #AscendGivesBack

We had the honor of working with Harm Reduction Circle, a nonprofit dedicated to making nightlife and public spaces safer through peer-led support and education. Since its founding, the organization has helped create environments where attendees, staff, and communities feel cared for, informed, and connected. From providing resources to modeling visible, non-judgmental support, Harm Reduction Circle strengthens the culture of care that already exists in nightlife and community spaces. Through partnerships with event organizers, local businesses, and community leaders, they show that small actions—like offering support, sharing knowledge, or volunteering—can make a meaningful difference. When communities look out for one another, everyone is safer, stronger, and more connected. #HarmReductionCircle #CommunityCare #SaferTogether #AscendGivesBack

We had the honor of working with Orange County Animal Allies, one of the region’s oldest animal welfare nonprofits dedicated to keeping pets and families together. For over 40 years, the organization has worked to strengthen the bond between people and their animals—providing access to low-cost spay and neuter services, emergency veterinary funding, pet food support, and therapy programs that reach those who need it most. Under the leadership of Executive Director Peter Chang, Orange County Animal Allies is focused on long-term, compassionate solutions—preventing animals from ever entering the shelter system by addressing the root causes that separate families from their pets. Through partnerships, community programs, and an unwavering belief that animal welfare is human welfare, the organization continues to prove that when we help animals, we help people too—and together, we build stronger, more compassionate communities. #OrangeCountyAnimalAllies #AnimalWelfare #AscendGivesBack

We had the honor of partnering with Arts for All, a Dana Point–based nonprofit using the power of music to bring people together and give every child the chance to learn, create, and express themselves. Founded by Bryce Hansen, Arts for All provides free one-on-one music lessons to underserved youth and builds community through its weekly concert series, Taco Tuesday Live—a local favorite that raises funds while showcasing emerging talent. From humble, volunteer-run beginnings to a growing movement with statewide ambitions, Arts for All continues to prove that creativity, connection, and compassion can strike all the right chords. #AscendGivesBack #ArtsForAll #CommunityThroughMusic #MusicEducation #SupportLocalNonprofits

We had the honor of working with I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue, an Orange County–based, all-breed, no-kill nonprofit dedicated to saving dogs from euthanasia, abandonment, abuse, and neglect. Founded on the belief that every dog deserves a home—not a cage—I.C.A.R.E. (Into Canine Adoption, Rehabilitation, and Education) provides rescue, rehabilitation, and foster care until each pup finds their forever family. The organization’s work depends on a dedicated network of volunteers, foster families, and supporters who make second chances possible every day. Through programs like their temp-foster option, which allows volunteers to provide short-term care, I.C.A.R.E. continues to show that compassion and community can truly change lives—one dog at a time. #community #dogrescue #icare #ascendgivesback #nonprofit #adoptdontshop

This summer, we had the pleasure of working with Acres of Love, a San Juan Capistrano–based nonprofit recently featured in OC Weekly for its life-changing work supporting orphaned and vulnerable children in South Africa. Acres of Love was founded on a simple belief — that every child deserves a family. Instead of operating orphanages, they create permanent family homes with trained house moms who provide consistent love, structure, and individualized care. Each child receives support tailored to their unique needs, including medical care, education, and early intervention therapies. With over 40 homes across five regions in South Africa, Acres of Love continues to prove that the best care comes from family, not facilities. Their commitment to dignity, stability, and love ensures that every child has the chance to grow, thrive, and belong. #community #OCWeekly #acresoflove #ascendgivesback #nonprofit #familymodel

A couple of months ago, we had the pleasure of working with Feeding Pets of the Homeless, a nonprofit dedicated to providing food and veterinary care to pets of those experiencing homelessness. Their belief is that no one should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pet. Pets are family, and their mission is to ensure that these companions receive the nourishment and care they need to stay healthy and by their owners’ side. #community #LAvoice #feedingpetsofthehomeless #ascendgivesback
