‘Sounds from Beyond the Seven Lands’ is a boundary-pushing compilation uniting 16 visionary Hungarian techno producers, each shaping the local underground through their own distinct sonic lens. The title takes inspiration from Hungarian folklore, where “beyond the seven lands” evokes a gateway into tales of wonder and mystery, a fitting metaphor for the immersive soundscapes unfolding here.
From hypnotic grooves and driving rhythms to raw, textured explorations, this V/A highlights the diversity and vitality of Hungary’s underground. Each track feels like a passage through unseen terrains, bound together by a shared spirit of innovation and cultural resonance.
