As Vice-President of AGSA, my vision is to foster a vibrant and united African graduate student community at LSU. I will support the president in executing initiatives that promote cultural pride, academic excellence, and professional development. I plan to enhance collaboration among members by organizing inclusive events, encouraging open dialogue, and creating opportunities for mentorship and leadership. By building strong connections within and outside the LSU community, I hope to strengthen AGSA’s impact and ensure that every member feels seen, heard, and valued.
Treasurer – Candidate Profile
As treasurer, my vision is to maintain transparency and integrity in all financial matters while ensuring that AGSA’s resources are used effectively to benefit our members. I plan to create clear and organized financial reports, assist in developing sustainable budgets, and explore new funding opportunities through grants, sponsorships, and university partnerships. My goal is to support AGSA’s mission by ensuring financial stability, promoting accountability, and helping fund programs and events that enrich our members’ academic, cultural, and social experiences.
