Recently, my mums friend was at a dinner I cooked at and he happened to mention it to her and she said “she has a business masters degree o but cooking is where she is flourishing” that statement is so loaded for me because my degrees help me have deeper conversations on projects I’m on. This day, I had the rare opportunity of meeting with the chairman of flour mills and members of the board and cooking for them. We had conversations about the future of food and apart from the conversations and cooking demonstrations, they enjoyed the food. Grateful to God! #afrolems

We call it our kitchen waste caramel. Inspired by The Plate Bistro on IG. We took all our kitchen waste, roasted it, boiled it and reduced it to a caramel. Taste? Like a hot honey because we had mango, ginger, garlic and onions and different wastes. We will be making another garbage caramel and can’t wait to share the use cases.

If you came to my golden penny masterclass, this is for you. We tasted our semolina sardine croquettes with this mango chilli sauce and some people asked how we made it. Well here you go 😁

I appreciated the creative line up at GTCO this year. The trick is always to go in a group so you try more things without getting too full too quickly. Some people completely blew my mind and some not so much. Food safety is also a real concern and I suggest GT looks into it sooner rather than later. Overall a good experience. So good I went two days! Did you go? What did you discover?

If you have ever attended a dinner I’ve hosted or even a lunch service, this palette cleanser is probably one of the many things that will blow your mind. It’s a floral palmwine palette cleanser. It has palmwine brought in from Ibadan (fresh) mixed with Rosewater, cucumbers and lemon. Some pomegranates seeds are thrown in there for extra flavour bursts. What do you like to do with palmwine? #palmwine
