This bamboo stick was my constant companion these last days. It was initially acquired to fend of wrathful monkeys although they actually behaved themselves. Instead it became my emotional support stick during a long, hard, wet hike. I released it back into the circular stick economy this morning and hope it serves its new companion as well as it did I. I even had many headed Bodhisatva bless it.
