Join me as try to clean up my garden while contemplating the question "When does being a proud parent become a real problem?"
Sure, we've all seen those parents on the side of the sports field that seriously need to look at their behaviour, but what about all the other ways our pride in our kids is really just their to feed our egos?

Just a silly compilation video of everything I remembered to capture over the past few days.
A family-filled long weekend to get us through the next quarter of the year. So grateful for this life I get to live and the people I get to live it with.
Happy birthday to the favourite of many, the adored by all, and the loved by me.
@juliementor - you're getting sweeter, greater and more beautiful, and this year has been no different. It's no secret how proud I am to be married to you and I think this year will be your best yet!
Hopefully by next year we can give you the gift of a full night's sleep...

In attempt to figure how I've changed emotionally, I thought it was a good idea to ask my siblings Viv and Keno about what I was like as a kid.
You'd think I'd know better...
Do other dads have this experience?
I feel so much more...emotional...since becoming a parent. I've become a total sap. It's a little embarrassing, honestly.
Dads, if you can relate let me hear you in the comments!
Actually, if you've had the opposite experience LMK too...
One of the benefits of learning how to be on stage, manage the timing, and influencing the energy of an event is that you often to get to be in a room with some incredible and talented people.
For me, hosting and MCing is all about being part of a team that goes out of it's way to create an experience that is fun, educational and valuable for the audience... even if that means rocking up in beach gear in Helsinki in the middle of winter.
Focusing on the needs of the audience first is crucial to overcoming my shyness and imposter syndrome - I'm there to serve them, not to look good doing it.
(Ironically, this can actually lead to you looking really relaxed and kind of good)
Of course, the host can only do the job if everything is running smoothly too - so thanks to my co-host for the two days Annina Ahlsved, and the organising supremes: Elsi Ahti, Anneliina Kaarre, Marjo Elo, Suvi Pukkila, Tomi Ylikantola, Matthew Wood, Päivi Korpi-Halkola and Arja Rytinki.
