If people are able to sell me things on the street and it’s completely normal, then how much more are we, as Christians, able to share the gospel and share God? Because in my experience, He is Someone who benefits me in every kind of way and every area of my life. He gives me life. He fulfills me. He fills me up more than anything I could ever buy, sell, or offer. This is about being bold. Even if you don’t fully know why you’re doing it. Just seeing what’s right in front of us—people are in need. People are in need of a Savior. People are in need of God. People are in need of knowing their worth, knowing who they are in Christ, seeing God, and allowing God to love them. Because people are crying out for something. People are crying out for identity, especially in this city. The people out here need God, they just don’t know it yet. All that they are looking for is in God—maybe hidden behind church hurt, religion, a religious way of life, or what they were taught growing up. But this isn’t about religion. It’s about relationship. Knowing the true God. A God who meets you where you’re at. A God who wants to help you. A God who still chose you even though you are a sinner—who died for you while we were sinners. A God who fills you, who loves you, who chooses you day in and day out, no matter what. People need to know they are on this earth for a reason. Not to be perfect. Not to be successful. But to love the God who made them and who gave them every talent they have & knows how to best use it.
