You’re not missing anything — many of the dogs you see on our Instagram are still brand new to the rescue and may not be live on our website just yet. They could be decompressing, heading to foster, getting medical care, or still learning what kind of home will suit them best.
✨ Here’s what to do:
The first step to adoption is always submitting an application. All application links can be found in our bio.
If the dog you’re interested in isn’t listed on the website yet, simply submit a general application and be sure to mention the dog’s name. This lets our team know exactly who you’re hoping to learn more about once they’re ready.
We do our absolute best to get back to everyone as quickly as possible, but please know we receive a high volume of applications every day. Your patience means everything to our small but mighty team.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
We love how excited people get when they see our dogs on Instagram — trust us, we get it. They’re cute. We’re obsessed too. 🐾
But we want to take a moment to explain our adoption process and why it exists.
Before meeting any of our dogs, we require:
• A completed adoption application (found on our website)
• An interview with our team
There are no exceptions.
This process isn’t meant to make things harder — it’s meant to make things safer. Our dogs are living in foster homes, not a shelter, and our fosters generously open their homes, time, and hearts to these pups. The application and interview help us protect them, protect the dogs, and make thoughtful, responsible matches that set everyone up for success.
We know it can feel frustrating to wait, but these steps are in place for a reason — and they’re a big part of why our adoptions work long-term.

Meet Brynn 💛
Spunky, curious, and equal parts playful and sweet, Brynn is the kind of puppy who makes every day a little brighter. Whether she’s chasing a ball, exploring her surroundings, or curling up next to you for post-adventure cuddles, she’s all in.
She’s already sleeping through the night in her crate (we love a queen with good habits 👏) and making great progress with potty training. Brynn is also very food motivated, which means she’s eager to learn and a total joy to train.

Marty is a 10-month-old goofball with the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle bug. He’s the kind of dog who gets the zoomies in the yard with his dog friends, then immediately crashes under a fluffy blanket like he just worked a 9-5.
He’s obsessed with his foster brother and would love a playful dog buddy in his future home. Fetch? Loves it. Tug? Absolutely. Backyard wrestling matches? His specialty. Marty just genuinely loves having fun and being part of the action.
Despite his goofy side, he settles down really well once he gets his playtime in. He’s a big fan of naps, bedtime, and sneaking in for a little spooning moment whenever possible. Basically: athlete by day, cuddle puddle by night.
Marty is potty trained, great on a leash, loves a dog door, and is eager to learn. He’s still a young pup, so he’s working on polishing up his manners, but he’s smart, sweet, and very willing to please.
Also worth noting: if one shoe randomly goes missing… Marty probably knows where it is.

For over 3 years, Emby has been waiting for her best friend, for her forever family… and she still hasn’t stopped believing they’re out there. 🤍
Emby is our rescue’s longest resident and has grown up surrounded by love in foster care, but she’s ready for a home to finally call her own. A home with forever people, forever routines, and forever cuddles.
She has so much love left to give, and we know the perfect family for her is out there. We truly believe her story is going to have the happiest ending. ✨

In the month of April alone, we spent $27,802.38 on general vet bills, $12,000 on emergency parvo care, and $2,300 on other emergency veterinary care.
Next weekend, we’re hosting a spay/neuter clinic that’s costing $26,000, which is now covered, thanks to so many of you. Now, we’re asking everyone to join in.
Behind that number are real dogs — dogs who came to us broken, scared, and out of options. Dogs who needed emergency surgery, critical care, parvovirus treatment, and someone to fight for them. We didn’t turn our backs on them and we never will. But we can’t keep showing up for them without you. $2 is less than a vending machine snack. It’s nothing to most of us, and it’s everything to them.
The dollars add up. So do the lives saved.

Meet Soul — a two-month-old shepherd mix with enough personality to fill a room and enough puppy charm to melt anyone in it. She loves to play, explore, and chase down her next little adventure, but she’s equally happy to collapse into your lap once the fun is done.

Update: Salsa has been adopted. Thanks for all of your help! Salsa is a sweet, outgoing puppy with a playful personality and a love for cuddles. She’s one of six siblings and has been doing great around both cats and other dogs.
