I’m so darn proud of my blessed bestie. Watching Peyton grow this freshman year has been such a beautiful thing. We started soccer season in tears… and ended with 20 goals! 🙌🏾
What makes that even crazier? Peyton typically plays defense, so scoring like this is completely new for her. But she stepped up. She changed her perspective. She kept showing up even when she was frustrated, overwhelmed, or things didn’t feel fair.
High school sports are NO joke. Early mornings for school, long days in class, then games right after. Multiple games a week, practices almost daily, and somehow still keeping up with her grades. Whew!
High school hasn’t been easy, but I’m so proud of the way she kept pushing through and how strong she’s finishing this season. Watching her confidence grow has been one of my favorite parts of this year. 🥹⚽️

It felt really good getting back in the gym this week! 🙌🏾
But trust me… I wasn’t just sitting around. 😂 Cleaning houses is a workout in itself! (IYKYK 🧼💪🏾) So on cleaning days, the gym has definitely been taking a backseat lately. Then Peyton had a tournament this weekend, so I didn’t make it in then either. ⚽️
But one thing I’m learning is this… a few off days don’t stop the journey. Consistency matters more than perfection. 👏🏾
My eating wasn’t the best this week, but I stayed mindful with portion control and I’m still down 2 lbs from last week! I’ll absolutely take that win. 🎉
Slow progress is still progress. ❤️

💐 Mother’s Day can be hard for me. My mom’s wake was held on Mother’s Day in 2001, so this holiday often carries a heaviness in my heart.
But life is all about perspective, right?
Over the years, soccer has become a beautiful distraction on a hard day. Most Mother’s Days there’s a soccer tournament. So, a year ago I started focusing on loving on the soccer mommas around me. ❤️
And honestly… the sidelines are a special place.
Coaching your child in a sport most of us never even played. Wanting to argue with the ref, but knowing better, so instead we quietly whisper to each other about how the ref clearly can’t see. 🤣 The early mornings, carpooling, snacks, folding chairs, exhaustion, and all the little moments in between.
There’s something really special about moms coming together to support their kids.
So being able to love on these mommas a little makes my heart smile. And getting to do it alongside my girls made it even more fun. ⚽️❤️#SoccerLife #SoccerMom #STLRealtor
