But tell me, Mr. LASU,
how do you truly achieve this greatness?
Is it by making students wake before dawn,
fight traffic, rush for 8 a.m. lectures,
only to hear at the door: “Class cancelled”?
Is it in the pressure of one-minute tests,
the endless academic stress,
the confusion, the anxiety?
Or is it in making students stand under the scorching sun,
sweating and waiting,
because there are no lecture rooms
or because the lecturer is nowhere to be found?
Tell me, Mr. LASU,
is greatness measured by students’ struggles?
By tears? By exhaustion? By survival?
By transport fares so high
that students trek long distances home
because going home has become expensive?
By darkness in hostels and homes,
where electricity feels like a privilege,
and charging your phone feels like paying another bill?
Our parents pay for quality education,
but many times,
we teach ourselves,
read without guidance,
and carry burdens heavier than our books.
And those meant to speak for us,
those meant to defend us,
sometimes become the same voices
that silence us.
Yet despite it all
the stress, the struggle, the sacrifice,
and the system that keeps testing us
we still rise.
Because we are not weak.
We are resilient.

Relocating changed a lot… new space, new rhythm, new responsibilities.
