••• MY CANCER JOURNEY •••
Getting cancer was completely unexpected and changed my family’s world.
If you know me, you know I was always going, going, going, and I thought I was “healthy.”
This experience has changed my outlook on life and health. No matter how “healthy” you think you are or how much you’re doing right, you never truly know what’s going on inside.
@aflac is encouraging the #CheckForCancer movement, using the everyday check pattern as a reminder to stay up to date on your screenings and go get checked.
One thing I’ve learned through this journey, and something I share with everyone, is to stay on top of those screenings and always take the signs seriously, even if you’re young and “healthy”.
