Last Tuesday in Toronto I was invited to play a set taking place at @thedjlab under the mentorship of Steve Stone. I spent about little over a week collecting and organizing hard house, speed garage, and breakbeat records to create a headlining weapon. I learned that not every headlining song needs to be powerful and complex, it’s actually those immeserive and emotional songs that create the tension. Shoutout to all the amazing artists and labels for creating amazing tracks that maximize energy while flowing seemlessly. An additional shoutout to Steve for always teaching me unforgettable skills at the DJ Lab on some really cool equipment - like the new RMX-IGNITE and CDJ3000x’s.
