Camera test days…🎥
Always a favourite for our Production Services and Equipment Rentals team. Around here, camera testing doesn’t just mean checking lenses and lighting setups, it means the warehouse kicks into high gear! Cases come off the shelves, rigs come together and the whole space shifts as everything gets prepped.
This one had us putting the @reddigitalcinema Komodo-X to work, complemented by the @sourcemaker 4X8 Hybrid LED Blanket and @arri Skypanels.

We had two VERY hands-on clients stop by today.
Nico and Oscar came in ready to talk production…and by “talk” we mean immediate service, a full tour of our facilities and zero patience for delays! 😳
They inspected the front desk🧐 (strong opinions), checked out our gear🤨 (very thorough), and made multiple visits to our our new coffee and snack station (purely for quality control, of course). 😝
In all seriousness, these two are rescues and are currently being fostered by our very own @gaylenakamoto through @sitwithmerescue an Ottawa and Quebec dog rescue run entirely by dedicated volunteers. If you would like to volunteer or become a foster parent, please reach out to them.
Visits like these are a reminder that community matters just as much as the work we create.

From emerging talent eager to break into the industry, to seasoned professionals who recently made Ottawa home again, seeing the depth of experience, creativity and passion in our community is something special.

It’s been a busy month for us!
A couple of weeks ago we hosted this year’s @iatselocal667 Ottawa DIT/DMT workshop, welcoming a talented group of skilled and emerging technicians for hands-on training experience.
As part of our support, we provided the space, the equipment, on-site resources (and yes…even the snacks 😉) to create a productive and comfortable learning environment.
Supporting and shaping the next generation of talent is something we genuinely believe in —and it’s why we’re always excited to open our doors for workshops like this.
