Hear AFFIEJAM perform CIVIC, a cathartic piece on asylum, unhoused neglect and erasure of memory by oppressive laws and policies which govern life. Civic duty is a myth when people fall within the cracks of the city, stratified from centre to periphery.
Then see Abdullah’s story piece, TEAR IT DOWN, in which he reminisces on his sound system days, and reflects on his frustrations in housing, work and healthcare, within a spatially stratified brum.
