We don’t really have an off switch. FD Labs is the corner of Fantastic Day where someone’s always mid-prototype - sketching workflows at dinner, spinning up apps between meetings, shipping things that started as jokes and turned into actual products.
ClawCam 🦞by @machinecinema is a perfect example.
@affanimran and @minhsmind were in the backseat on the way to @nvidia GTC, laptops open, debugging a selfie-to-cartoon-lobster pipeline. By the time they got to the venue, it was live.
The concept is simple: snap a selfie or upload a photo, and AI transforms you into a cartoon claw-wielding character. Your face, but with lobster energy. Every result gets added to a live gallery so you can see the whole crew getting clawed in real time.
No pitch deck. No sprint planning. Just “this would be funny” into a working app that people actually played with all day.
That’s FD Labs.
