An intake is one of the first mods I do to pretty much every car I own, and after installing this @afepower Takeda intake on my Toyota GR86… yep. Still true.
The install was ridiculously easy, fitment was perfect, and the sound difference is immediate. The stock intake sounds fine, but this gives the boxer engine way more personality and makes the car feel more alive when you get on throttle. Better sound, more air flow, and a little extra torque and horsepower? I’m in.
Also… can we appreciate mods that don’t fight you during install? No weird trimming, no “why won’t this bolt line up,” no losing your sanity in the garage at midnight. Just simple and satisfying.
This thing sounds GOOD now.

2️⃣ ZIG ZAG — We recommend a smooth zig-zag motion to coat your air filter in the perfect amount. It will take around 30 minutes to completely wick in the material.
3️⃣ HIGH-FLOW FILTER MEDIA — Our Pro 5R oiled air filter media shown is made from 5 layers of cotton gauze in a progressive weave, making it our highest flowing, highest performance filter media. This media allows for maximum airflow while the oil traps debris.
