Most “AI training apps” aren’t really using AI. They just follow fixed rules if you miss a session, they move it. If you’re tired, they lower the volume. That’s not intelligence. That’s automation. Afasteryou is built differently. We use real performance data ike VO2max, FTP, HRV, and your actual training history. Every time you train, your plan gets smarter. Your sessions adjust automatically — not just weekly. Your fatigue, recovery, and goals are all taken into account. You don’t need to guess what to do — we build the best next step for you. It’s real science for real results. And built for real people who don’t live like pro athletes but still want to train smart and get better. Because your time is limited and your energy is valuable. All you need to do? Register on our platform and select your plan. Link in bio 👆

From the outside, it looks impressive. Big volume. Big commitment. Big discipline. Big Strava weeks. But if the structure is wrong, if the zones are off, if the load does not match your body, if the plan is built on assumptions instead of your actual physiology… then all that effort can still take you in the wrong direction. And that is the frustrating part. Because athletes like this are not lazy. They are not inconsistent. They are not missing motivation. They are often doing a lot. Just not in a way that their body can use properly. More training does not automatically mean more progress. Sometimes it just means more fatigue, more confusion, and more time spent wondering why the results do not match the effort. That is exactly why training should not only look hard. It should actually fit you. Your body. Your goals. Your recovery. Your real response to load. That is the difference between just training a lot and actually moving forward. That is also why we built Afasteryou this way and you can test it complitly for free, link in bio!

A very simple way to think about it: higher VLamax = more explosive, more glycolytic, more carb-hungry lower VLamax = more efficient, more steady, better for longer sustained efforts That does not mean high is bad and low is good. It depends on the athlete and the goal. If you are a sprinter or need short explosive efforts, a higher VLamax can help. If you are training for long steady efforts like a marathon, long climb, time trial, or long-distance race, too high VLamax can become a problem because you may burn through energy faster, produce more lactate, and struggle to hold pace or power for long. That is why two athletes can have the same VO2max and still perform very differently. One may be more efficient. One may fade earlier. One may be better built for steady racing. The other for punchy efforts. So when you try to understand your VLamax, the real question is not: “Is my number good or bad?” The better question is: “Good for what?” a sprint? a marathon? long climbs? repeated attacks? That is exactly why this number matters because it helps explain what kind of athlete you are, not just how fit you look on paper. And that is also why we look at both VO2max and VLamax in Afasteryou, because one number alone rarely tells the full story. #vo2max#training#performance#afasteryou#endurance

Here are 3 signs your training is wrong: 1. You are consistent, but your performance is not moving You show up. You do the sessions. You tick the boxes. From the outside, it looks like everything should be working. But week after week, nothing really changes. You are doing the work… but the results are not meeting you there. 2. You always feel like you need more recovery, but never feel stronger You keep waiting for that moment when your body finally feels good again. Less heavy. More fresh. More ready. But instead, training starts to feel like something you are constantly trying to survive, not something that is actually building you up. 3. You are following a plan, but it still feels like guesswork You do what is written. You trust the process. But deep down, there is always that little question in your head: Is this actually right for me? Or am I just hoping it works because I do not know what else to do? If you saw yourself in one of these points, maybe that is your sign. Your body might just need something different. Something more personal. Something built around you, not around guesswork. With @afasteryou , you can try a new way of training completely for free. #running#performance#endurance#afasteryou

A lot of athletes think they are stuck because they need more discipline, more volume, or more suffering. But many are already doing enough. The real problem is often somewhere else: wrong zones too much medium-hard training poor recovery bad fueling low iron generic plans that were never built for them So they keep pushing, keep showing up, keep doing the work… and still wonder why progress feels slower than it should. That is exactly why we built @afasteryou . Not to tell athletes to “just work harder,” but to help them understand what their body actually needs in order to improve. Because training hard is common. Training right is still rare. If you want to stop guessing and start training with more clarity, you know where to find us.

We live in a time where almost everything is personalised. Your coffee. Your food. Your clothes. Your Spotify. Your Netflix. Your whole online experience. And still, so many athletes are trying to hit a PB or raise their VO2max with a generic training plan. Why? Because getting a personal coach is not always realistic. Sometimes it is about money. Sometimes time. Sometimes simply not knowing where to start. That is exactly why @afasteryou has spent the last almost 10 years working on one thing: making personalised training more affordable, more practical, and easier to use. And we did it. We built a platform based on the experience of 10,000+ athletes, together with professional coaches and insights inspired by top-level sport and teams like Visma, to turn performance knowledge into something you can actually use. So your training can adapt to you, your goals, your time, and your progress. And yes, you can test it completely free today: link in bio. #afasteryou #cyclingtraining #enduranceathlete #vo2max #performance

A lot of athletes start with FTP and honestly, that makes sense. You do the test, you get your number, you build your zones around it, and for a while it feels like everything is finally more structured. But then something starts to feel off. You and your friend can have almost the same FTP, and still one of you holds the pace while the other fades. One recovers well, the other feels empty for two days. One improves from a block of training, the other just gets tired. And that is exactly why we chose to build Afasteryou around metabolic training. Because we did not want to give athletes just another plan based on one number. We wanted to build something that looks deeper. At how your body actually works. At how you produce energy. At what is really limiting you. At why the same training can work for one person and not for another. That is what makes training feel more personal, for us, that is where better coaching starts. Because when you understand the athlete better, the training gets better too. And that is why we went for metabolic training. #ftp#ftptraining#metabolictraining#performance#coaching

Different body. Different life. Different stress. Different recovery. Different engine. So why keep following training that was made for someone else? A lot of athletes get stuck here. They copy what friends do, follow generic plans, or just try to train harder without really knowing what their own body needs. But more is not always better. And copied training is not personal training. With Afasteryou, your training is built around your data and keeps adapting to your body, your schedule, and your progress. And it is not built on guesswork. Our coaching platform is built on the experience and data of thousands of athletes from world-class professionals to ambitious amateurs and everyday athletes trying to fit training around real life. Because the goal is not to follow someone else’s formula. The goal is to find what actually makes you faster. And yes, you can test our personalised training completely free🙌🏼 #training#afasteryou #enduranceathlete #running

Social media is full of athletes doing crazy hours, double sessions, huge Strava numbers, and making overtraining look normal. And after a while, you start asking yourself: am I even doing enough? Don’t get us wrong...yes, progress needs time, consistency, and commitment. But you also have a job. A life. Your health. Your relationships. Maybe kids. Maybe stress. Maybe limited time. And trying to fit 40 hours of work + 20 hours of training into one week does not automatically make you a better athlete. In many cases, it just makes you more tired because improvement does not come from doing the most. It comes from doing the right work, at the right time, with the right load for your body. That was one of the biggest reasons we built A Faster You. We wanted to take the kind of precision, structure, and performance thinking usually reserved for world-class athletes and make it available for real people with real lives. So instead of following a generic plan or constantly wondering if you should do more, you get training built around you: your data, your goals, your available time, and what your body is actually ready to absorb. Because training hard is easy to glorify but training right is what actually moves you forward. If you want to try it, your first month is free🥳 Link in Bio

Everyone talks about VO2max. Bigger engine. Better fitness. More potential. And yes, VO2max matters a lot. But when it comes to your actual race result, VLamax can change more than most athletes realise because VO2max tells you how big your aerobic engine is. But VLamax helps explain how your body uses energy: How quickly you produce lactate. How fast you burn through carbohydrates. How efficient you are when the effort gets longer. How sustainable your pace or power really is. That means two athletes can have the same VO2max and still race completely differently. One holds the effort well. The other fades. One looks efficient. The other burns through energy too fast. Same fitness on paper, different result in real life. That is why chasing a higher VO2max is importend, but at some point you need to get efficient. And that is exactly why we look at both VO2max and VLamax in Afasteryou. Because the goal is not just to know how fit you are. It is to understand what kind of athlete you are and what your body really needs next. If you want to understand your own numbers better, test @afasteryou Training complitly for free - link in bio. #vo2max#endurance#cyclingtraining #performance
