Hey ya'll! Come join us and our buddies @thepfcat at the 2025 Portland Festival of Cinema, Animation, and Technology happening at OMSI from August 6th to 10th.
This five-day indie film fest is packed with some amazing animation and mind-blowing films from all around the world. Everything before 5 pm is family-friendly, so everyone can join in the fun. With tons of films to view, VR demos, parties, Q&As with filmmakers, and panels (one featuring our awesome AEPDX volunteers) there’s plenty to check out!
Tickets are super affordable—just $12 for adults, $11 for seniors, and $10 for youth, with a $2 discount if you’re an OMSI member.

Shoutout to Lindsey Brean, one of AEPDX’s newest volunteers.
Part illustrator, part animator, part digital designer…100% goth hillbilly.
Lindsey has worked across the surf/skate/snow world, indie studios, and now rocks it in-house, bringing a gritty DIY energy to all things pixelated. She’s leaned hard into 2D animation and is especially stoked by the magic that happens when video meets hand-drawn elements (think vintage cartoons crashing into a ’90s skate video on a haunted VHS tape.)
She’s obsessed with compositing: layering crusty, analog textures with slick, new tools to create something that feels weirdly nostalgic and strangely future-ey all at once.
You can find Lindsey at many of our local PDX community events and helping our team out with all things digital. Welcome Lindsey!
