Io’s Dusty Spiral | While artist-in-residence at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. Inspired by the simulation exhibiting the elegant and energetic spiraling of dust plumes created as particles are ejected out into space from the vibrant volcanoes erupting on Jupiter’s Moon, Io. An exuberant example of centrifugal motion by the most volcanically active body in the solar system.
Special thank you to Dr. Mihály Horányi and the LASP IMPACT dust lab.
A part of my short dance film series, created as part of my artist-in-residence position with the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics.

A special issue of the academic journal Regeneration: Environment, Art and Culture. This unique edition expresses our time sailing with Svalbard together - an experience which deeply changed us all. Thankful to be amongst these fellow artists, scientists, and educators who I admire so greatly and continue to learn from. Please take some time to wander-about this incredible treasure trove of heartfelt responses to our journey and Arctic adventure. (Full issue linked in bio)
A mighty THANK YOU to editors @hesterblum@jacindarussellart@artist.cjensen who worked diligently to weave this together for us.
Thank you to Tallship Antigua and the Arctic guides who navigated and us through and make these art-science dreams possible.
A special week of the Yampa to the Green.
The Yampa River, the last major undammed tributary of the Colorado River system because people fought hard for her and the importance of her wildness. The strong efforts of this environmental fight in the 50’s worked, and she remains free flowing. 🐸
NASA PUNCH Mission has launched, is in orbit, and is looking at the Sun ☀️
Brought on as an Art and Science Consultant as part of the NASA PUNCH Mission Outreach Team to create this film was a wild experience I could never have dreamt up.
Dancing Up a Solar Storm: A 15min art-science film and follow along activity geared towards young learners to learn about the Sun and solar storms through movement.

Thank you to the Southwest Research Institute @southwestresearchinstitute , NASA @nasa , Dr. Cherilynn Morrow the Outreach team lead, the full breadth of the PUNCH science team, and the PI.
With a forever ‘thank you’ to LASP @laspatcu and Dr. David Malaspina who generously granted me the time and space to initially fall in love with, and create art based on, heliophysics.
Thank you Ryan Brooks @flyinggiant for being the ultimate collaborator, DP, and artist to work with on these fun filming adventures outside.
Desert dives. Riding the waves of water, wind, and time. Reminded of how much is heard in the magic of desert silence and how much is felt between body and stone.
