In 2004 Alliance Ethio-Francaise toured my art in a group show called "Selected Drawings" to 24 African countries. My other exhibits and travels in Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, South Africa, Egypt, Ivory Coast and Jamaica evidence our shared identity and need for Pan African unity.

Released in France in April 2026, The Secret of the Wolf of Ethiopia is a captivating documentary film dedicated to a fascinating and little-known creature, the Abyssinian wolf. This enigmatic predator, endemic to the Ethiopian highlands at an altitude of more than 3,400 metres, has many surprises in store. Recently, a study revealed a new behaviour in this large carnivore: it forages flowers, like a bee!
Join us at Alliance Ethio‑Française Addis Ababa for a special screening of The Secret of the Wolf of Ethiopia in the presence of wildlife filmmaker and photographer Adrien Lesaffre.

Strengthening ties between the Alliance Éthio-Française Addis Ababa and schools that teach French language to support the youth in learning French 📖
A meeting held this week with 19 representatives from 11 schools of Addis Ababa and Ambo allowed us to present our Alliance and its youth-focused activities: DELF Prim and Junior, summer camp, exhibitions, game library…
A warm thanks to the attending schools for their trust and for these fruitful discussions. We return from this meeting with new ideas of collaboration.
