@adventuresbycole put together an unforgettable proposal and I’ll never stop being amazed at how perfect it all came together! He was volunteering at an aid station that had a Western theme, providing snacks, drinks, and games alongside the climbing section of an all women’s mountain bike enduro race, @sturdydirtyenduro ! My group of friends took our sweet time ascending the mountain, stopping at other aid stations to throw on glitter ✨ and eat starbursts, until we finally stopped to see Cole at the @srammtb booth before beginning our timed racing sections. He brought his camera and since Cole is always snapping photos, I didn’t think anything of it. Friends started taking photos and Cole kept asking for more in different styles and I kept wondering, “Since when does Cole care about photos?? He’s a one and done kinda guy!” And then I noticed more people taking photos so I asked what’s with all the fuss? That’s when he got down on one knee and I’m fairly sure I blacked out 😂 In true form, we both started crying/sobbing before I could tell him, “I love you! Yes!” 💍 I didn’t see it coming and it was so beautiful to see our genuine reactions in these photos. I’m incredibly grateful for his planning and our friends who helped document this moment for us. There ain’t nothing better than getting engaged at Sturdy Dirty! I took a shot before continuing onto the race course, managed to shake off the jitters for the downhill sections, and had a blast riding bikes with friends. I always knew he’d pop the question while riding bikes but never saw this one coming!
