What is self guided trekking? 🤔 Self guided trekking is perfect if you’re looking for more freedom and self-sufficiency in your mountain adventure. We provide you with the GPX file within our travel app, handle the accomodation and logistics, and then you follow the route. But don’t worry, we are on hand at the other end of the phone, and especially for our solo trekkers we take extra attention to make sure you are happy with your trekking plan 🙏🏼 Solo trekking can be a transformative experience, with an incredible sense of freedom. It’s a reminder to yourself to adopt self-awareness, and make responsible decisions throughout your journey to ensure an incredible adventure unfolds between you and the mountains ✨ Are you up for it?

Mountaineering is a complex adventure. There’s a lot of factors which determine the success of the summit. That’s why it’s even more important to control the one thing you can: you. Build your fitness. Get out and climb every hill you can find. Get stronger. Train with a backpack filled with heavy things. Work on your mindset. Seek out challenges. Learn how to stay steady when things feel anything but. You do you, and we’ll handle the rest. POV: The Matterhorn Climb

Double trouble on the trails as Harriet and Beth take to the Alta Via 1 Trek 😁 A stunning 120km trek through the Dolomites, enough time to think of great answers for the alphabet greetings game right? 🤪

The Haute Route Trek connects two of Europe’s most famous mountains: Mont Blanc in Chamonix, France and The Matterhorn in Zermatt, Switzerland. An iconic route in the trekking world ⭐️ Thinking about it? Here’s some things you should know 😁

People talk about the importance of getting out of your comfort zone…but we fully appreciate that for many of us, the mountains are the comfort zone 😁 it’s being away from mountains that brings the discomfort! Do you feel us?

When we say trekking in Europe is full of cultural experiences, we definitely mean the opportunity to eat some mountain food, melted cheeses and other delicious things (which taste even better when you’ve walked up a lot of hills!) Each country brings its own specialities, and accommodations along the way offer a mix of traditional dishes. Mountain refuges are not restaurants, and often their menus are limited by the food they can transport to these remote locations - sometimes by helicopter or mule. Often you will be given a set menu which is eaten in community with your fellow hikers ☺️ However, the huts menus vary a lot. Rostis, raclettes and tartifettes are not out of the question! Or maybe a little taste of alpine liquor, Génépi, if you’re feeling bold - or to take the edge of the aching legs! 😉

We know that for some of you, hiking is not enough. Thats why we introduced trail running options for some of our treks, including the Tour du Mont Blanc and Tour des Glaciers de la Vanoise 🏃🏼‍♀️🏔️ Choose between options of running 25km or 50km a day depending on your level of hardcore (although arguably, running in the Alps is all pretty hardcore). Run free wild humans 🙌🏼
