🦇☠️ Spooky Halloween Hike to the Cave of Munits w/ guest guide
@adventure_foo ruled! As night fell, 40+ VGHs hiked to the cave which was a feat in and of itself and then maybe half of us who were feeling brave climbed in which was no piece of cake. And we all survived mostly unscathed. Thank you to everyone who came out last night and made VGHC Hike 48 truly special.
After the cave, and after dark, we hiked back but stopped at some ruins of a water barrel and a car. We took the wrong detour to the ruins for a second which was totally intentional in order to spook everyone just a little bit more! ;)
Huge thank you to valley boy Ozzy,
@adventure_foo , for planning this hike and leading us on a spooktacular evening. Ozzy is a true valley hiker and adventurer, always getting out there. Follow him for more!
At the 🔗 in bio, stay tuned for our next hike by signing up for hike alerts and keeping an eye on your inbox beginning of November. Once the hike alert drops, RSVP if you think you can maybe make it.
Also at the 🔗 in bio, shop VGHC merch! Logo by

@aetnastreetsolidarity which is SFV mutual aid. Support the valley while looking cute and conjuring the valley girl within!
What a frightfully fun time in the West Valley. Hope to see you all soon on some more trails!
PS. Shout out to anyone who impromptu helped guide such a big group: looking at you
@3dery_art (ty for being the sweep in the back),
@placesiam and
@luis_dot_com and I know there were others. So cool to see everyone helping each other out and making sure everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. Coming together in community (whether that community is LA, the valley, or an evening of spooks in nature) is like, so totally rad! ❤️
