So I built a multi-height streamline mount to see what the airflow is actually doing.
Low flow feeds the duct. High flow stays clean.

We got a new toy at @mcmillinracing shop With the price of everything else always going up, it’s amazing how technology always gets cheaper. Never thought I’d have a @laserpecker beam to play with. Printed a fixture to label our @brownandmiller fittings.
Pulled out an old design from 2022 to re-pop a couple of these direct-mount A/C filter setups for the spec trucks.
This direct mount filter system for the Intercooler-type3 is a much simpler, more compact, and cleaner solution compared to remote-mounting the filter and running hoses throughout the cab.
I’ll put together a couple extra units and get them on the website if anyone is in need.

It’s been about a decade since I was handling spare parts and chase trucks here at McMillin Racing, so this was a fun throwback project.
We packaged the spare driveshafts with dedicated hardware kits and some U-joint cap protection to keep everything race-ready and easy to grab when it matters.
Two hours in the shop is worth two minutes on race day.

Pulled out the very first Mag-Caddy today during final tie-up and second-look on AWD83.
Still doing its job after a couple years in the shop.
Now the truck is ready… 83 is headed back to the dirt for the 2026 season.

Fun little project from the shop. Designed this water-resistant micro relay case/mount for the race truck with print-in-place TPU seals.
This one is a team-specific build for now, but I could make more if there’s interest.

Had to install some new hydraulic lines on the old KTM this week. While doing the clutch line, it made me think about Tomac running a cable—and somehow that thought turned into Supercross being in our hometown this weekend.
My KTM steel frame came in handy, and the Mag-Caddy earned its keep during the zip-tie cleanup.
So… race weekend felt like the right excuse.
