For Tre Horton, who plays Marlon Jackson in Michael, getting ready for the premiere was less about chaos and more about intention. While red carpet moments often come with rushing, last-minute tweaks, and nerves, Horton approached the evening with a grounded mindset and a clear sense of purpose.
Mayte Garcia, artist, author, philanthropist, and the longtime muse, collaborator, and former wife of Prince, honored the music legend, his life, legacy, and humanitarian spirit as the City of Los Angeles proclaims Prince Day. The Hollywood Sign and other city monuments glowed purple in his honor. Ten years ago, on April 21st, the world lost a music legend, and this year, Garcia is honoring Prince’s life, legacy, and humanitarian spirit through Live 4 Love Charities, a nonprofit founded in honor of Prince's philanthropic mission to drive better outcomes for humanity. Live 4 Love Charities is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 1996 by Prince Rogers Nelson and Mayte Garcia.

For Indigenous actor Anna Lambe (Inuit), the Arctic isn’t a fascination or a far-flung bucket list destination—it’s home. And she’s eager to share the place that raised her with TV audiences. After appearing in ‘True Detective: Night Country,’ set in Alaska, she was the breakout star of Netflix’s 2025-released sitcom ‘North of North,’ which marked the first major TV show shot in the Arctic. It was filmed in her hometown of Iqaluit, Nunavut (Canada’s northernmost city), and offers an honest depiction of contemporary Inuit life.
As the Arctic becomes a top trending travel destination, Lambe urges travelers to see this special place—like Iqaluit’s vast open tundra dotted by mountains, rivers, and rocky outcrops—through an Indigenous point of view, in which humans are inextricably intertwined with the natural world. “Inuit have always seen ourselves as part of the land and the water and the wildlife,” she says. “Visitors need to understand that there is a long history of people who have come to the north to exploit the land, its peoples, and its animals. So it’s important to be conscious of how much space you take up when you’re here.”
