Another special week in the books!
Over 60 players from South Florida had the opportunity to be mentored on and off the ice by Anthony. Check out the sights and sounds of the week:
The Anthony Duclair Foundation (ADF), with the support of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) and National Hockey League Players’ Association’s (NHLPA) IndustryGrowth Fund, announced an initiative to demonstrate a resolute commitment to fostering diversity and growing hockey in South Florida. The project involves the construction of a 100-foot by 50-foot synthetic outdoor hockey rink at Boyd Anderson High School in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida.
The ground-breaking event took place today at Boyd Anderson High School, where Anthony Duclair, accompanied by representatives from the NHL, NHLPA, and Florida Panthers, marked the commencement of this transformative project.
Although Duclair no longer plays for the Florida Panthers, after being traded to the San Jose Sharks this past offseason, he remains steadfast in his dedication to promoting the game and fostering diversity in hockey throughout South Florida.
