Introducing 2 of our judges for the Anvil Awards happening May 22.
Daniel Cullen is an Associate Creative Director from Dublin, Ireland.
Cutting his teeth at agencies in Ireland and Canada, Danny has experience working on global brands on both sides of the pond. With a particular love for reductive, sharp creative Danny strives for work that doesn’t pique interest but commands it.
Danny is happiest when immersed in creativity and particularly adores seeing a clever insight translated into a cracking idea by way of some beautiful craft. When not swiping away at his Wacom, Danny can be found outside with his camera pointing it in some direction or another.
Addie Gillespie
Creative Director
Zulu Alpha Kilo
While Addie lives within the magnificent mountains of Vancouver, she makes a daily cross-country commute to lend her creative talent to Zulu Alpha Kilo’s Toronto office as a Creative Director. Known for her insight-driven, culturally tuned work, Addie has helped shape campaigns for brands like Virgin Plus, Athletics Canada, Sephora, Breast Cancer Canada and most recently the Dove #ChangeTheCompliment campaign. While her work has earned awards at all major national and international award shows, her two daughters make sure she knows that’s not as cool as K-Pop Deamon Hunters. Fair.

As a high-energy, multidisciplinary experience, Creative Differences brought together Calgary’s creative community to test their knowledge, explore local landmarks, and connect across disciplines. The mix of live gameplay and audience participation created a night that was both interactive and rooted in community.
