The final opening of our season and a career highlight of a show for me at @denvercenter , mainly because I got to work so closely with my Gemini sister @lauriewoolery for these past few months. Her work on the production of SOMEWHERE is absolutely stunning and led this cast, creative and production team with such joy and grace. Happy opening all! #iwillmissyoumostscarecrow #openingnight #producer #castingdirector #castingby

A year ago I was at @laliff_ while finishing the edit on @loco_shortfilm and told myself we’d be back in 2026. I never got to screen it and celebrate with the LA cast/crew — but we’re going to now, baby!! Thrilled and honored to check a LALIFF premiere off the bucket list. Can’t wait to share this night with dear friends and collaborators. Friday, May 29 at 4:15pm! Ticket link in bio šŸŽŸļøšŸæšŸ’ƒšŸ»

What fun! Such a delightful reading of WOMEN, BIRDS, STARS @estlosangeles Winterfest on Friday night! Directed by Laura Stribling, with Sarah Brooke, Susan Vanita Diol, Adriana Sevan, Angela Bullock, Tracey A. Leigh & Sarah Garic. #luckyplaywright šŸ™šŸ¼ to EST/LA, these incredible artists and all who joined us! šŸ’ƒšŸ¼ (And all who have been a part of this play’s journey. šŸ’•) About the play: This is the story of four women of a certain age who take refuge together when their habitat is threatened. Rocked by uncertainty, they find themselves weighing their losses and options for survival in an increasingly surreal world. But there’s always ice cream. ā€œWomen, Birds, Starsā€ is about being present amidst chaos, and what it means to be gone. #newplay #womenplaywrights #womendirectors #LAThtr

This solid crew of women pushed me, lifted me up and carried me through 2025. From a place of embodiment- we held mirrors up to each other’s businesses and invited each other to step it up. We still meet on the regular to practice our tools Everything feels different when it comes from a place of keeping your inner fire stoked ! Allowing yourself to have desires, pursuing them to create your one wild and precious life šŸ™ŒšŸ¾. Not glorifying hustle culture and burn out. Changing the female led narrative to one of supporting each other. As we watch the patriarchy crumble around us. Together we go further. Collaboration over competition. Sisterhood

Sundance Theater Lab pics 1997 and 1998. Part 1. I’m sharing these after seeing Michelle Satter’s pics of Sundance labs of old. Just got these gems digitized! What an incredible time this was. Artists fueling and inspiring each other. We worked on great plays during the day, hiked, shared stories, danced, and had a blast. Feeling tremendous gratitude for the consistency and support from the Sundance familia. šŸ’• Please forgive me for not having everyone’s name listed! It was a wee bit ago ā˜ŗļø 1 - Adriana Sevan, Al Espinosa, Ruben Santiago Hudson, Amy Redford and yours truly. Adriana, Al, Ruben and I were workshopping Two Sisters and a Piano by Nilo Cruz. Amy and I were in a play about two forest critters of different species who fall in love. I think I was a rabbit. Maybe a gopher. šŸ’• 2- Ned Eisenberg. ( we nearly killed each other swing dancing one night!!) 3 - Viola Davis, Michelle Shay, Regina Taylor. Wow! 4 - Elizabeth Marvel and I. She organized the final night Cabaret. 5 - Jojo Gonzalez, Seth Gilliam, Alec Mapa and I. We were workshopping Jessica Haegedorn’s Dogeaters. 6 - Jose Zuniga. 7 - Ned and I doing a reverse Lucy and Ricky skit at the last night Cabaret. 8 - Nilo Cruz and I.
