❄️ Tindrem neu l'any que ve?

“Somewhere in Lincolnshire” is a photographic documentary about a trip to the north of England I did in February 2025.
📸
1 & 2 : Viking Path, Caistor,
3&4 : Caistor, Lincolnshire.
Between on-ground transports and on foot wayfaring across countryside, small towns, villages and industrial areas, I’ve explored what travelling means for me.
I started this journey with some questions : what memories and souvenirs will I bring back home ? How will I take pictures of places just discovered and that I will see once ? Will I find a study subject or interesting angle to build up a publishable project ? I left with a half-working point-and-shoot analogue camera I bought a few weeks before departure, and my usual digital camera equipped with a brand-new heavy zoom lens. Always going out with them both on me, I knew I would document the places I would encounter, and try to capture the feelings of the moments I spent there.
“Somewhere in Lincolnshire” relates the excitement of the departure, the wandering, walking, and immersion in the landside, that I’ve tried to brought back home. It’s an incomplete documentary, even with two image series supporting themselves and trying to tell what happened there. Still, it’s only a glimpse. It is like I’ve never been there. No track was left. Everything I’ve capture stayed there. But it was not a dream, was it ?
((Special cheers to my ✨girlfriend✨ who first brought me to Caistor, and then from there always followed me everywhere I brought her.))
