For @login.mag ’s debut issue, I wrote an anecdotal essay reminiscing on my formative years as a mini twitter/tumblr celebrity and the wild west that was the social media landscape of the early 2010s.
The essay traces the manosphere’s current-day visibility and political institutionalization back to earlier days of Reddit, Twitter and anonymous, ubiquitous bigotry online.
