“These 10 years have been revolutionary… our industry is prolific, generous, experimental,” @anthonyfromadonis tells YUNG.
His own sound has mirrored that transformation, a restless evolution from piano folk sketches to lush synth odysseys through pop, cinematic textures, and electric intimacy.
“I’m all for people trying the weirdest combinations,” he grins. “If something new finds an audience, it means there’s room for it.”
Always embracing the hybrid, the strange, the unexpected, he lets uncertainty guide creation: only 10% of what he writes ends up in songs.
That openness culminates in Wedyan, Adonis’ latest album, drifting confidently across moods and genres while holding tight to their lyrical core. “Wedyan makes us feel that we can preserve our identity while moving in a new direction,” he says. Thirteen years on, the cover star is still chasing uncertainty, and finding beauty in the unfinished.
