Let peace win, always 🤝🏽 In a world that can feel divided, this day is a quiet but powerful reminder: progress begins with how we show up with one another. Here in Australia, and globally, 2026 continues to bring moments that call for more understanding, more listening, and more willingness to meet each other where we are. Living together in peace isn’t just an idea, it’s something we practise through everyday actions: respect, inclusion, curiosity and care. In our workplaces, our communities, and within the admin profession, this looks like creating space for different perspectives, supporting one another, and building environments where people feel seen and valued. Because when we choose connection over division, we create something stronger, together 🤍 #internationaldayoflivingtogetherinpeace

Did you catch our latest episode of The Admin Avenues Podcast? 🎙️ In our latest episode, I sat down with Stevie Weine, winner of the 2025 AIOP Emerging Leader in Executive Support Award, to talk about what it really means to step into leadership early in your career. Stevie shares how she’s moved beyond traditional support to become a true strategic partner, influencing outcomes, building strong relationships, and thinking with a business-first mindset from day one. In this episode, we explore:
 • What leadership looks like without a formal title
 • How to influence and drive impact early in your career
 • Building confidence to step up before you’re asked
 • The importance of business acumen in executive support
 • Practical ways to accelerate your growth One of the biggest takeaways? You don’t need permission to lead. You just need to start.  If you’re ready to think differently about your role and where it can take you, this is one to go back and listen to. 🎧 Tune in now – podcast link in bio!

WOW! What an incredible day celebrating Admin Professionals Day in Sydney ✨ Last Friday (1 May) over 100 members of Sydney’s admin community came together at the Watersedge venue in The Rocks to celebrate, connect and recognise the incredible work of administrative professionals. We welcomed guests who travelled from the Central Coast, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide and even Tasmania to be part of the day. There were plenty of hugs with old friends, new connections made, incredible prizes won, and beautiful goodie bags enjoyed. A true highlight of the day was hearing from our guest speaker, Michael Ebeid AM. Michael’s honest and practical insights on leadership, trust, staying relevant, and the evolving role of Executive Assistants were incredibly generous, thought-provoking and inspiring. A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors: • @aiopnational • @grouptogetherofficial • @corporatemerchandiseaustralia • @theconferenceshop And thank you to @erinmastersphotographer for beautifully capturing the day through her camera lens 📷 We can’t wait to see you all again at the Admin Avenues Sydney Conference on Monday 12 October at Doltone House Hyde Park - BE SURE TO SAVE THE DATE!

Happy Admin Professionals Day ✨ …and Happy 4th Birthday to Admin Avenues 🎉. What a DAY!! Today is all about celebrating the incredible admin professionals who keep businesses moving, teams supported, and everything (and we mean everything) running behind the scenes. And what better way to mark it than celebrating four years of Admin Avenues -  a business built on connection, advocacy, growth, and genuinely championing this profession every single day. Four years of backing admin professionals. Four years of raising the standard. Four years of building a community that truly gets it. And today… we celebrate together. Our sold-out Admin Professionals Day Luncheon in Sydney is just a few short hours away, and we could not be more excited to be in a room filled with so many of you 🤍 To everyone joining us, we cannot wait to see you. Today we’re celebrating the woman behind Admin Avenues!! Happy Birthday, Candice 🎂 And in true Candice fashion, she’s managed to align her birthday week with not one, but two milestones - Admin Professionals Day and Admin Avenues’ 4th birthday (both tomorrow, because of course they are). Honestly, we couldn’t have planned it better if we tried. Now, while she’d never make a fuss about herself… we absolutely will. There are many reasons we love and appreciate Candice, but here are just a few: ✨ She’s a walking LinkedIn. She knows everybody and makes everyone feel seen ✨ She’s your ultimate hype woman - the kind who backs you before you’ve even finished your sentence
✨ She gets the admin world from the inside out (because she’s lived it, breathed it, and elevated it)
✨ Zero competition, all encouragement - always cheering you on, loudly and proudly
✨ She shows up as her full, true self - and gives everyone else permission to do the same
✨ Equal parts heart and hustle (with a side of “have you drunk water today?” energy)
✨ The friend, mentor, and voice of reason you didn’t know you needed. Candice, you’ve built something incredibly special. Not just a business, but a community that genuinely lifts people up. We’re very lucky to be in your corner. Here’s to celebrating you today, and everything you’ve created tomorrow 🥂 - With love, the Admin Avenues team x
