The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has organised a variety of interactive community activities at Dalma Mall to mark the International Day of Families, celebrated annually on 15 May. The initiative aims to raise awareness of the family’s role in building a cohesive and stable society, aligns with the objectives of the “Year of the Family 2026” to support domestic stability, and champions values that reinforce social solidarity.
This initiative forms part of the Judicial Department’s ongoing efforts to enhance community awareness through innovative programmes tailored to all segments of society. It follows the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, to sustain family-oriented and community-focused initiatives, improve quality of life, and foster social cohesion.
The three-day event featured a diverse range of interactive zones, including a community and family guidance hub alongside a dedicated family lounge for relaxation. A children’s digital awareness zone offered interactive activities, educational games, and awareness messages designed to promote positive family communication.
Additionally, the event included an exhibition displaying the products and crafts of inmates from correctional and rehabilitation centres, aimed at supporting their reintegration into society and highlighting their creative skills. Another key area was the family intelligence and positive parenting section, which hosted panel discussions, offered expert parenting tips, and showcased visual educational content to enhance the overall quality of family life.
The accompanying programmes further diversified the event with recreational family activities and a dedicated pavilion introducing the Judicial Department’s digital services and community initiatives. Gifts were also distributed to participating children, creating an engaging and interactive family atmosphere that successfully blended public awareness with entertainment

نظمت دائرة القضاء في أبوظبي، فعاليات مجتمعية تفاعلية متنوعة في مركز دلما التجاري (دلما مول)، بمناسبة يوم الأسرة العالمي، الذي يصادف 15 مايو من كل عام، بهدف تعزيز الوعي بدور الأسرة في بناء مجتمع متماسك ومستقر، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات "عام الأسرة 2026" الرامية إلى دعم الاستقرار الأسري والقيم الداعمة للتماسك الاجتماعي.
ويأتي ذلك، في إطار جهود دائرة القضاء الهادفة إلى تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي من خلال مبادرات وبرامج مبتكرة تستهدف مختلف الفئات، تماشياً مع توجيهات سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس الدولة، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء، رئيس ديوان الرئاسة، رئيس دائرة القضاء في أبوظبي، باستدامة المبادرات الداعمة للأسرة والمجتمع وتعزيز جودة الحياة، بما يسهم في ترسيخ قيم التلاحم المجتمعي.
وتتضمن الفعاليات التي تستمر على مدار 3 أيام، عدداً من الأركان التفاعلية المتنوعة، من بينها ركن الاستشارات المجتمعية والأسرية، ومساحة للاستراحة الأسرية، إلى جانب ركن التوعية الرقمية للطفل، والذي يضم أنشطة تفاعلية وألعاباً تعليمية ورسائل توعوية عززت التواصل الأسري الإيجابي.
وتشمل الفعاليات ركناً لعرض منتجات وإبداعات نزلاء مراكز الإصلاح والتأهيل، بهدف دعم جهود إعادة الدمج المجتمعي وتسليط الضوء على مهاراتهم وإبداعاتهم، بالإضافة إلى ركن الذكاء الأسري والتربية الإيجابية، الذي يقدم جلسات حوارية ونصائح أسرية ومحتوى توعوياً مرئياً لتعزيز جودة الحياة الأسرية.
وتنوعت البرامج والأنشطة المصاحبة لتشمل فعاليات أسرية ترفيهية، إلى جانب ركن للتعريف بخدمات دائرة القضاء الإلكترونية ومبادراتها المجتمعية، فضلاً عن توزيع هدايا للأطفال المشاركين، بما يسهم في توفير أجواء أسرية تفاعلية تجمع بين التوعية والترفيه.

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Majlis at the Citizens and Community Affairs Office of the Presidential Court, has hosted an awareness lecture entitled “The Importance of Marriage and its Role in Building the Individual and Society.” The session took place at the Hilal Zayed Al Shehhi Majlis in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi.
The lecture is part of the “Majalisna” initiative launched by the Judicial Department. The initiative follows the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, aiming to promote legal literacy and raise social awareness to support security, stability, and strengthen family cohesion.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Saeed Salem Al Darmaki, Chief Family Counsellor at the ADJD, covered several key themes, including the importance of marriage as the fundamental building block of the family and society. He highlighted its role in achieving psychological well-being and social stability, as well as its contribution to raising a generation capable of actively participating in the nation’s sustainable development.
The session also addressed the primary challenges facing young people today regarding marriage and family formation. These include excessive dowries, high wedding costs, inflated material demands, and the influence of unrealistic social expectations. Furthermore, it noted a lack of awareness concerning the requirements of married life, while proposing practical solutions such as moderation in spending, simplifying procedures, and fostering a culture of mutual responsibility and partnership between spouses.
Additionally, the lecture emphasised the importance of making the right choice in a life partner by considering intellectual and social compatibility, character, and the ability to take on responsibility. It underscored that marital relationships should be built on mutual respect, understanding, and positive dialogue to ensure a stable family capable of navigating various challenges.

نظمت دائرة القضاء في أبوظبي، بالتنسيق مع مجالس أبوظبي بمكتب شؤون المواطنين والمجتمع في ديوان الرئاسة، محاضرة توعوية بعنوان "أهمية الزواج ودوره في بناء الفرد والمجتمع"، وذلك بمجلس هلال زايد الشحي في مدينة خليفة بأبوظبي.
وتأتي المحاضرة ضمن مبادرة "مجالسنا" التي أطلقتها دائرة القضاء تنفيذاً لتوجيهات سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس الدولة، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء، رئيس ديوان الرئاسة، رئيس دائرة القضاء في أبوظبي، لتعزيز نشر الثقافة القانونية، ورفع معدلات الوعي المجتمعي بما يدعم الحفاظ على الأمن والاستقرار وترسيخ تماسك الأسرة.
وتناولت المحاضرة، التي ألقاها الدكتور سعيد سالم الدرمكي، موجه أسري رئيسي بدائرة القضاء في أبوظبي، عدة محاور منها: أهمية الزواج باعتباره اللبنة الأساسية في بناء الأسرة والمجتمع، ودوره في تحقيق السكينة النفسية والاستقرار الاجتماعي، والإسهام في تنشئة أبناء صالحين قادرين على المشاركة الفاعلة في مسيرة التنمية المستدامة.
كما تطرقت المحاضرة إلى أبرز التحديات التي قد تواجه الشباب في الزواج وتكوين الأسرة، ومنها المغالاة في المهور وتكاليف حفلات الزواج، والتوسع في المتطلبات المادية، والتأثر ببعض المفاهيم الاجتماعية غير الواقعية، فضلاً عن ضعف الوعي بمتطلبات الحياة الزوجية، مع استعراض عدد من السبل العملية للتغلب عليها من خلال الاعتدال في النفقات، وتيسير الإجراءات، وتعزيز ثقافة المسؤولية والشراكة بين الزوجين.
وتضمنت المحاضرة توضيح أهمية الاختيار السليم لشريك الحياة، من خلال مراعاة التوافق الفكري والاجتماعي، والتحلي بحسن الخلق، والقدرة على تحمل المسؤولية، إلى جانب بناء العلاقة الزوجية على أسس الاحترام المتبادل، والتفاهم، والحوار الإيجابي، بما يضمن تأسيس أسرة مستقرة وقادرة على مواجهة التحديات المختلفة.
ووجهت المحاضرة عدداً من الرسائل الإيجابية والنصائح المجتمعية في هذا الشأن، من أبرزها أهمية تبسيط متطلبات الزواج، وتغليب المودة والتسامح في الحياة الأسرية، والحرص على احتواء الخلافات بالحكمة، وتعزيز لغة الحوار بين أفراد الأسرة، وترسيخ قيم التعاون والتكافل، بما يسهم في بناء مجتمع متماسك ومستقر وينعكس إيجاباً على حاضر الوطن ومستقبله.
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has accredited 49 new private mediators to support the emirate’s civil and commercial dispute resolution framework, reinforcing the role of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and promoting an efficient and expedited justice system in Abu Dhabi. The newly accredited mediators took the legal oath before Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, marking the commencement of their duties in handling civil and commercial disputes. The accreditation of the new batch forms part of ADJD’s ongoing efforts to provide flexible and swift channels for resolving disputes through alternative and consensual settlement pathways, ensuring the prompt restoration of rights while safeguarding business continuity, in line with leading international judicial practices. Al Abri affirmed that ADJD continues to advance the vision of His Highness Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court and Chairman of ADJD, aimed at developing an innovative judicial ecosystem that delivers integrated services characterised by efficiency and flexibility, further strengthening Abu Dhabi’s competitiveness across global justice indicators. He noted that supporting the civil and commercial dispute settlement system through qualified private-sector mediators represents a key pillar in fostering a stable and investment-friendly business environment. The expansion is intended to reduce dispute resolution timelines while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy required in commercial disputes, in addition to issuing amicable settlements with enforceable legal status. Al Abri added that the newly accredited mediators completed intensive training programmes focused on enhancing negotiation and legal mediation skills, ensuring their ability to manage mediation sessions efficiently and with full neutrality, ultimately reaching fair settlements aligned with the interests of disputing parties and the UAE’s applicable legislative frameworks.
أدى 49 وسيطاً خاصاً جديداً اليمين القانونية أمام سعادة المستشار يوسف سعيد العبري، وكيل دائرة القضاء- أبوظبي، وذلك لبدء مهام عملهم في تسوية المنازعات المدنية والتجارية، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز دور الحلول البديلة لفض النزاعات وترسيخ منظومة العدالة الناجزة في إمارة أبوظبي. ويأتي اعتماد هذه الدفعة الجديدة من الوسطاء، في إطار جهود دائرة القضاء الهادفة إلى توفير خيارات مرنة وسريعة لإنهاء النزاعات عبر مسارات الحلول البديلة والتوافقية، بما يضمن سرعة استعادة الحقوق والحفاظ على استمرارية الأعمال، تماشياً مع أفضل الممارسات الرائدة في النظم القضائية. وأكد المستشار يوسف العبري، أن دائرة القضاء تمضي قدماً في تنفيذ رؤية سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس الدولة، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء، رئيس ديوان الرئاسة، رئيس دائرة القضاء في أبوظبي، الرامية إلى تطوير منظومة قضائية مبتكرة توفر خدمات متكاملة تتسم بالمرونة والكفاءة، بما يرسخ المكانة التنافسية لإمارة أبوظبي في مؤشرات العدالة العالمية. وأوضح أن دعم منظومة تسوية المنازعات المدنية والتجارية بوسطاء مؤهلين من القطاع الخاص، يعد ركيزة أساسية لإرساء بيئة اقتصادية مستقرة وجاذبة للاستثمار، إذ يستهدف هذا التوسع تقليص الفترات الزمنية للفصل في النزاعات، مع الحفاظ على أعلى درجات السرية والخصوصية التي تتطلبها المنازعات التجارية، و إصدار تسويات ودية تكتسب قوة السند التنفيذي. ولفت إلى أن الوسطاء الجدد قد اجتازوا برامج تأهيلية مكثفة، ركزت على صقل مهارات التفاوض والوساطة القانونية، لضمان قدرتهم على إدارة الجلسات بكفاءة وحيادية تامة، وصولا إلى تسويات عادلة تتماشى مع متطلبات الأطراف المتنازعة وتتوافق مع الأطر التشريعية السارية في الدولة. ويشار إلى أن منظومة الوساطة الخاصة في المنازعات المدنية والتجارية، حددت ضوابط دقيقة لمنح تصاريح مزاولة النشاط سواء لمكاتب محاماة أو شركات استشارات قانونية أو مكاتب خبرة مرخصة، وذلك بعد استيفاء الاشتراطات التنظيمية وإثبات الكفاءة الفنية لإدارة النزاعات وتسويتها، مع توفير مقر ملائم ومجهز تقنياً وفنياً لعقد جلسات الوساطة، ما يعزز مرونة الوصول إلى خدمات التسوية الودية عبر مراكز خبرة قانونية معتمدة.
