Happy Mother's Day
Missing you more than ever today. Even though its been over a month, it still doesn't feel real at all, and honestly it never will. Among the sadness, anger, and emptiness thats constantly consuming me, I'm left imagining you, your attitude, your care, your strength, and what you would be telling me to keep me upright and pushing forward. You are and will always be my light through the tunnel of life.
The countless memories, your gravitating personality, your fire and passion, your leadership, your pure love of life, I'm just left cherishing and remembering everything. If only you knew how inspiring of a human you are, a true trailblazer. You are always my motivation.
With everything you had to be proud of in your life, you always had the most pride being our mom. You made any and every sacrifice for us without ever thinking of yourself, ever. You made sure we had everything, while balancing your successful career. And you put off your happiness for that. You finally had your time to live life without sacrificing, and letting us sacrifice for you. You were so excited to live in your new dream house, knocking off more countries on your travel map, watching us get married, and finally just reap the rewards of all your hard work. But as you would say, things happen for a reason, whatever happens happens. I hate that saying right now, Ma, if im being honest.
One thing is for sure: I will always do anything and everything to make you proud and live up to your dreams for me. Your fingerprints are all over anything I do, because you taught me how to be me. You are my blueprint. And I am so lucky for that, more than you will ever know.
