‘Shape of me’ is out today 🌊 I’m excited to share this one with you all.
I wrote this song back in 2017 and it was one of the first times I wrote a song with so many lyrics that were really emotional, personal and vulnerable. It stayed in the vault for a while until my very last few days at the Banff for jazz and creative music residency in 2018, when I finally found the courage to share it with my peers.

@ara_ossy to jump in. We got a unconventional string section and a rhythm section in the studio with very limited rehearsal time, recorded about 4 takes of this live with no overdubbed and then I let it sit on a harddrive for another 8 years.
This song & experience is the sole reason
@iamdiamusic was born, so I decided to give her some credit on the track - thank you everyone involved for allowing me the space to fully be my whole self. Love to you all, I hope this song makes you feel something ✨
