Since I was about 5 years old I remember being scolded for forgetting things.
The general understanding of the world when you don’t do what they’ve asked you to do is -
Their chore / errand / job / task doesn’t matter to you, and hence you have slacked.
But all these things mattered to me, the tasks the jobs, the people.
It’s taken me 35 years to discover why I forget a task despite knowing the importance of it.
I was diagnosed at 9 and it’s only been 2 and a half decades of this. But I thought I’ll explain this to the world in the best way I know.. by making a funny video about it.
